Sandeep Girotra has over 20 years of experience in telecommunications, information technology, test equipment and telecom services industries in Indian and multinational organizations. With a proven track record of growing and winning businesses, Sandeep is known for his strong business cum operational management skills and strategic acumen.

Currently, head of India region at Nokia Siemens Networks and responsible for all sales and operations across the region. He is also Member of the Customer Operations East leadership team and Previously head of India sub-region, Nokia Siemens Networks

Sandeep joined Nokia Siemens Networks (formerly Nokia Networks) in 1996. Over the years, he has contributed to the organization's growth in important positions such as Account Director, head of Strategy and Business Development and head of Business Solution. As head of Sub-region India, Sandeep was credited for driving additional growth across a number of customers including Aircel, Idea, Tata, BSNL, Uninor and Videocon.

Sandeep's instrumental role in building Nokia's business with Bharti & Idea Cellular is seen as one of his major achievements, reflecting his ability to continuously innovate and adapt to changing business models, customer needs and technologies. A truly customer focused and people-oriented leader, Sandeep is well respected for his collaborative style of leadership. Prior to joining Nokia Siemens Networks, Sandeep held various positions in organizations such as RPG Telecom & Shyam Telecom, Hewlett-Packard India and Tektronix India.

Born in 1965, Sandeep holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. In his spare time, Sandeep is enthusiastic about reading, sports and fitness. Based in Gurgaon, India, Sandeep is married and has two children.
